A child exhibiting challenging behaviour at home and / or at school can be extremely difficult to manage. If you are looking for someone to help with managing your child's / student's behaviour, then I can help. I provide 1:1 individualised support, behaviour management strategies and produce action plans all of which contribute to raising self-esteem, building resilience and changing how the child behaves. Changing how a child thinks and developing self belief ultimately leads to positive outcome for all concerned, thereby making everything easier for those involved. Having mentored over 200+ children I can wholeheartedly say by the end of my time with them, they understand the link between good behaviour and academic success.
Sometimes, changing how a child thinks and behaves allows them to believe in themselves, gain confidence and ultimately, leads to greater academic success.
I provide high quality behaviour management strategies, do action planning, resilience building, group sessions and 1:1 mentoring for any age group.
I am currently the Head of an SEMH school, with over 25 years of teaching experience in a number of diverse schools in both inner and
outer London. During my journey, I have held a number of positions which include Head of Department, Head of Year, lead on whole school behaviour and have successfully run a Behaviour Unit.
My work included supporting students with SEND and their parents to ensure their children made
excellent progress in school and beyond. My experience of working closely with Pupil Referral Units
and SEMH schools means I have the expertise to successfully reintegrate students back into
mainstream education. I am passionate about students not being permanently excluded from school and have a track record of this not happening with all of the young people I have directly worked with.
